Legal Services

We negotiate complex business transactions and conduct multifaceted dispute resolution matters.

Jenifer D. BinderPersonal View:
Jenifer focuses her legal services on litigation and transactional matters. When most clients describe Jenifer, they use words like smart, creative and caring. And while these attributes ring true, they only begin to describe her legal approach, skills and experience. “When addressing my clients’ legal needs, I put myself in their shoes and treat them as I would like to be treated. My goal is to find the most efficient, cost-effective means of solving their legal issues.”

For more than 10 years, Jenifer’s practice has included employment transactions, discrimination litigation, business transactions and estate planning. Like other First Law Group attorneys, she takes an active role in educating attorneys, trade groups, business managers and the general public in matters pertinent to employment and wage law, business formations, and mortgage foreclosures. She also serves on the Portage County Condemnation Commission and the Wisconsin Supreme Court Appointment Selection Committee. Prior to practicing law, Jenifer worked as an analytical chemist in the Milwaukee area for twelve years. She also served as a pre-law advisor for Marquette University’s College of Arts & Sciences.

Our attorneys do have another life. When not in the office, you may find Jenifer in her gardens, walking her dogs, or tending the First Law Group prairie. As a director and past President of the Mid-State Technical College Foundation, she takes a full and active role in making her community a great place to live and work. Jenifer is a past President and active member of the Stevens Point Kiwanis Club.
